It is very common, for people just to live their entire lives on automatic, without any sense of achievement. Adopting the Common Sense Way will enable you to live a meaningful and satisfying life.

Less Stress

The Common Sense Way provides the tools to manage stress in a healthy manner. Following it won’t mean you won’t feel any stress, and some stress can be of benefit and a powerful motivator, but poor stress management can seriously inhibit your effectiveness and do you long term physical and mental damage.

Fewer difficulties

Many, most, of the difficulties we face in our lives are avoidable. Sometimes our difficulties are self-inflicted arising because we didn’t think things through when we could have done, or we avoided dealing with something when we should and could have done. Sometimes they are ones which whilst not of our making we could have taken action to avoid or mitigate. The ways of thinking provided in the Common Sense Way will lead to many difficulties being avoided and also being better able to cope with those that do arise.

Most scams are readily avoidable. Adopting a Common Sense Way of thinking will enable you to readily see the warning signs. The signs are invariably there, as those who fall for scams admit. The trick is to recognize them early enough, which you can with an improved way of thinking.

Less conflict with others

Most of our conflicts with others can be avoided or reduced through increased tolerance, accepting that others have different perspectives and viewpoints, reducing our unrealistic expectations for how others should be and behave, and learning not to let our emotions spill over into destructive behaviors, which are some of the basic principles of The Common Sense Way.

Seemingly luckier

There are some things that happen in life which are just plain bad luck, in a way that is not down to us: accidents happen; chance events go one way rather than another; opportunities pass by the way of others and not us. However luck is about probabilities and we can significantly influence probabilities. Adopting the Common Sense Way we can reduce the likelihood of many types of accident, we can increase the likelihood of change events going our way, and we can be sensitive to opportunities which others might not notice or let pass them by.

More likely to succeed

What ever it is we want to succeed at, we are far more likely to do so with a realistic outlook on the way the world is and the way people are, and though being able to exercise good judgement in terms of deciding upon what to do and how to go about doing it: ie. If we follow the Common Sense Way.
Feel and be more in control

For many people life just seems to happen to them. Their lives unfold in ways that they never intended, but in ways they felt and feel unable to do anything about. But it didn’t and it doesn’t have to be that way. Whilst we don’t have total control over our lives, there are after all billions of other people and we have no magic powers, we can have a significant amount of control by adopting the right attitude, accepting the realities of the situation we find ourselves in, and doing what we can rather than focusing on what we can’t.
